Hi RL:
I"ll have to talk generalities here, but there are some good things that area offers:
-reasonably thick shale section
-proximity to pipeline infrastructure
-positive results and a lot of activity in WV across the river
-thermal maturity of the shale that should provide some liquids along with the gas production
My opinion is you are in a desireable area that should see an increase in interest for leasing and drilling. How quickly that might happen, I'm not as sure. A lot of it would be based on what's been leased around you, or what type of block a company could asseble to start a pilot project. Feel free to e-mail me if you like: highrate@comcast.net
