George, definitely agree that we should share info. There appears to be a lot of operators out there with promises and offers all over the field (no pun intended!). I live in Maine, believe it or not..we have a family farm in Noble County and I have relatives all over Wayne Township. Been coing to Ohio all my life...Some of my family live on the farm..several of us are trying to get a handle on the situation..I actually do not know of anyone who has actually gotten money yet, do you? Its a bit of a mystery!
I get out to the Farm several times a year..will be there in August for a short visit. It would be good to somehow organize a Noble Cty kind of database on leases made, acreage, location, outfit (Company), type of lease, value of lease, royalty, has money actually changed hands! Since I still work for a living, its really hard to keep on top of this. I don't think we're in a rush contrary to the warnings of some of these guys..but also don't want to get left out.
This website is an excellent tool for communicating..maybe we can get Keith Mauck (site publisher) to add Noble County as a separate entity..
