There is a lot of hype and fear-mongering, increased further by ignorant media who use it to sell more newspapers or advertising space. There ARE issues, but with all the misinformation being circulated, the real concerns get overshadowed and, thus, not dealt with appropriately, if at all.

    I've had some super Pits, too, my last one lived to be 19 years old.  We needed a little more muscle, went to CC's and lost our hearts !  I've noticed though that since we put up our Corso's that other dog lovers have come forward. Yaay.
