Introduce Yourself
On Sunday, August 29, 2010 and unknown operator (believe it is NorNew) was flying a helicopter over our property. I assume they are surveying for the route of the gathering pipeline, which will connect to the Millenium pipeline. The neighboring properties (2-3 farms) have already signed lease agreements and or easements for gathering lines.

    We have just formed our own landowners group www.sidneylandowners.webs.com and It appears that Hess Oil is very active and waiting for January 1st to roll around. They of course will not be doing the drillling as they outsource that to several other smaller companies. Sad part is everyone is excited about the Marcellus Shale, when we basically sit on 7 differant shale formations... I am assembling a paper compiling everything I could intelligently gather so people would have one document to review.
