Introduce Yourself: I am the 50 y/o son of landowners in Venango County. I am trying to learn as much about the oil and gas business as I can in order to assist my parents in the decision making processes that lie ahead.

JR- my alias is a little less clever than yours. Our property is on the west side of Mercer on Lamor Rd. My wife and I are both pharmacists. I had a successful business (pharmacy related) that we sold about 2 years ago. Still working, but without all the worries of being a business owner. We have about 100 acres HBP by a small outfit from Wooster OH, but they sublet the deep rights to Hilcorp, so we're hoping to be in a unit someday. We are in the process of finalizing an LLC which will hold our O&G rights for this property and a few others we own. Hopefully we did the right thing.

My nephew owns the house/garage and 15 acres across the road from your plant (Jason Schiestle). Sounds as though he got missed also. Maybe when they drill 4 mores wells you both will be in a unit. His Halcon lease was reassigned to SWEPI this past fall.

New activity at the Gallagher well site on Halfway road in Jamestown PA. ..Halcon owns it. Has anyone heard new news?
