Dear Bob,

Be persistent, offer low price, and provide great service. If that doesn't work let me know. It's good to see you are still kicking !!!

Best always,

I'm a local fuel company owner and have tried to offer our services to the gas/drilling companies in the area. I haven't had any luck though...what do the gas companies look for in a fuel supplier and how can I get involved?

Jason, I've seen a few ads here and there in Tioga County for trucking and other contract services related to gas drilling, but they all require training and several (3+) years experience.

I do but I was hoping to jump on with one of the gas companies. I was a small business owner with my brother at a restaurant. I was in the military and have done odd jobs here and there. I am 26 and looking for something a little less tedious than cooking. I am tired of standing in a kitchen for 100 hours a week. And I know the gas companies are popping up all over. So I joined this site among others in hopes of networking some sort of job within the gas field. Like I said no experience but willing to work hard.

New member , Melvin Bennett, Eldred Twp, Lycoming County. I have 93 acres leaased to Anadarko near Warrensville. No activity by Anadarko yet but their area rep told me that they will be starting two wells in Hepburn Twp this coming July. Rice has finished the drilling on 87 at Farragut and have a well planned for the Costello farm just a mile or two north of the 87 site at rt 864. Anadarko seens to be west and north of here on state land presently.
