EME left Susquehanna County some months ago after signing a few leases that I am aware of. I had several clients who were negotating with them and one who ultimately signed. Whether what it is offering elsewhere is "good" is impossible to answer without knowing the monetary and non-monetary terms of its lease and what an individual landowner is seeking to accomplish with a lease. Their offers in Susquehanna County changed several times (with the bonus money decreasing) with the landowners I represented who were working with them.

To me, "good" is anything better than East is offering.

The rumor is true - better than East's - and that is all that I will say about that. If interested, you should contact them yourself.

What was wrong with Endless Mountain Energy's offer? What area was this? In central Tioga County, East has been the only player, and nobody's terms and lease could be worse than theirs. I understand that Endless Mountains Energy was offering $2750/18% in Deerfield Township....way better than East.

I contacted Endless Mountains Energy, and they would be happy to discuss leasing opportunities with me and will contact me soon. It's a good start, anyway.

It is not true that Endless Mountain Energy stopped leasing land in Susquehanna County! I know for a fact that just today they leased about two hundred acres.
