this is a press release from Gulfport taking about their first quarter that I posted in a Gulfport discussion;

lol I am taking mine down and nominating you H Bale to be the searcher and poster for Gulfport;

Gulfport is a little out of my geographic interest;  Good Luck H Bale.

In responding to analysts questions there is occasionally a little more "meat" in the answers than one gets in  statements on a PR.

On page two (or there about) of the transcript providing in the "seekingalpha" link  it says "The Lyons wells are just southwest of our Boy Scout wells on what we believe is near the western edge of the Utica wet gas airway. After 45-day resting periods, the Lyon 1-27 tested at 1,087 barrels of condensate per day and 2.5 million cubic feet of natural gas."

What's an airway? Has he identified where Gulfport thinks the play goes from predominantly wet gas to more of an oil base?

yes i think that is what they are saying..........that the play goes to the oil phase to the west of there.

The NGLs being produced from the Stout and Lyons wells should be encouraging to those who live around the Guernsey - Harrison county line. To quote Bob Downing from the Akron Beacon Journal's report:

The Lyon 1-27H well in Harrison County’s Washington Township is producing 2.5 million cubic feet of natural gas, plus 1,087 barrels of oil and 337 barrels of natural gas liquids.

The adjoining Lyon 2-27H well is producing 1.8 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, plus 1,373 barrels of oil and 144 barrels of natural gas liquids (butane or propane).

The Stout 1-28H well in Harrison County’s Mooresfield Township is daily producing 4.2 million cubic feet of natural gas plus 443 barrels of oil and 517 barrels of natural gas liquids.

The adjoining Stout 2-28H well is producing 3.3 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, plus 413 barrels of oil and 443 barrels of natural gas liquids

I am really looking forward to the Stutzman well's production numbers and the McCort well's initial testing to be published. There is a compressor station being constructed approximately one mile north of the McCort well by MarkWest, I believe, and the gathering lines are currently being fitted in and around the McCort well. One can see no less than three open shore trenches being bored under Boston Road (which McCort is situated off of) that lead north.
