Did Vortex Energy LLC pay any of you folks in Washington County? Vortex is the company John Wells and SOEC tried to promote after the DUX fiasco. I am told a lot of  folks in Pleasants, Wetzel, and Tyler Counties in West Virginia  signed leases in favor of Vortex. Supposedly these folks are to get paid by the end of January or so I am told. Vortex Energy LLC  was formed in June 2013 and like DUX is a shell company with no assets, no phone number, no history of drilling wells and no ability to drill any wells etc.  etc.

MNW is who we went through as well.  A family friend owns it.  And Triad is paying!!!  Good luck to you Mike!!

The DUX deal is dead. We had property in the deal and the leases were never closed.

Contact Doug Mallet at mallettdoug@hotmail.com. He represented us for our land in Marietta area. His company is MNW Energy. They did the deal with Triad Hunter for 32,000 acres in the county.

I just wanted to let you know about an upcoming Seminar Series through the YPE called Energy Industry Training Series- It’s 12 part series, although you can just attend one or two if you like. The first Seminar is in June, and gives a complete overview of both the Marcellus and Utica plays.

I seen where they did the seismic testing from Mconnlesville down RT 60 to Lowell then turned onto RT 530. Anyone have any info on this testing? Thanks!

I neglected to add that I specifically searched Lubbock Texas for a telephone number for Dux Petroleum and/ or Dux Petroleum, LLC, this supposed leader in the O&G exploration and production business, and came up with NOTHING. We are waiting Attorney Wells for some answers!
