Thanks MJ for posting these pics. I have not checked in here for quite awhile, Craig Stull stopped by to visit and filled me in on BP's progress and made me curious enough to sign in. Thanks Craig. These pics. excite me more than all the other news combined. They can drill and drill until the cows come home and it doesn't mean spit until new pipeline projects get underway. I would ask anyone knowing information on pipeline, location and progress, please post all you can. Thanks again, Jim

Jim,

I spoke to some of the workers over the weekend.  The company is from Louisiana and most of the guys are from there or the surrounding states.  They worked through the Holiday weekend. I rent the farm where they are at and thought I could plant over the holiday weekend without having to deal with their traffic.  They were working by 7:30 and were there most of the day.  Quite an operation with all the heavy equipment and manpower. One of the workers I spoke to said they should be done in June with their section and then on to their next project. They will be boring under Route 7 and also under some of the wetlands surrounding the shenango river. They have different type of pipe they'll lay in the section that is bored versus what is layed in a normal trench.  Thought that was interesting.

There is also talk of running a pipeline going south from the Brugler to Petersburg.  Had an agent stop at my farm a couple weeks back looking for an easement across the farm.  Said the project would probably start next year and consist of about 40 miles of 16" pipeline.

The pipeline guys drilled under the road yesterday.  Welcome back James.

Hello to all, hope your summer is going well, small pun, couldnt help it. We may be going into a hot dry summer now at this point, some of the pipeline workers being from LA is a good thing at this point. They are used to hot and humid weather.
My wife spent 8 yrs. In the US Airforce down there and her little sister followed her down there to visit and is there to this day. I have shared all that to say we visit the Shreveport, LA area often and summers down there feel like Africa Hot to me. Not good, i could never work well in that heat and humidity extremes.
I hope the pipeline work is going well. I also hope when all is said and done and these test wells come in the soon move even further West between Rt87 and Rt88. We hope to be in a BP unit in the next year or two. As always wishing everyone good health and luck.

They have been laying pipe on Rt 5/88 in Johnston going towards Kinsman veering off on Rt 5 too.  This morning on my way to work, they were up to the old underpass of the railway.  I didn't realize that was for BP until I read the other thread here on the Trumbull section.

Thanks for posting these pics, MJ.  For some reason, I envisioned the pipe to be larger in diameter.  Pretty exciting.  :-)

Thank you for taking time to snap these photos and share with us. :-)

This was a month ago and your welcome.  Where are you located Gina?

Hi MJ

My sister and I share a piece of property in Vernon, but we both live in NW Ohio.

Gina,

If you are familiar with Vernon - Burghill, these were taken quite near where the old Burghill Country Inn was in operation.  Pipelines are being put in all over it seems...

If you would like any more detailed info on our area and/or development - friend me - and I can update you with more specifics without posting everything on here.

Regards

Thank you. I am so sorry to be so late in answering your post, and how kind of you!  Any information you could send is much appreciated.
