It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride over the years for us in Trumbull County. The last few decades have had more downs than ups. Looks like we may be in for a LONG good stretch. Nay sayers beware. I especially like this statement in the article. "This is the first four wells (contracts) they are handing out, and they are thinking there will be 2,000 of them. They are all in Trumbull County. It's going to be huge."  If that number was 200 instead of two thousand it would still be exciting. Just think of the positive economic impact of 2000 wells over time in our county. Hang on for the ride. Link below.

Good news My friend!  Thanks for your posts! - Keep them coming.  Good night and God Bless.

As MJ said in a previous posting, it looks like a 12" (approx.) pipeline being put in on SR 305 across from the Buckeye well. There is also something going on in the same area with a 4" (approx.) line. There is a ton of money actively being invested in infrastructure in Trumbull County. I think Marcus is right about things hitting a higher gear next year. But, he is also right when he says cautious excitement should be the way we regard all of this. (I have to admit that the emphasis for me is on excitement)  We will not know about well results for a while, as companies have to keep that info close to the chest, but pipeline companies don't dig trenches and lay in large pipe without good reason. Maybe they are privy to info we landowners might not hear for a while. Here's to hoping.

BP is going to be back at the Roscoe well to frack well in December. All I am hearing is all the wet gas in Trumbull county. I cant wait for the new updated version of the Utica map for Trumbull county !

Sounds good craig!  Can you cite some sources?  "all I am hearing is all the wet gas in Trumbull county"

I have been telling my friends and neighbors for the better part of a year - that O/G is not in Trumbull and Mercer for just gas.  Natural gas is what is emphasized at community meetings about leasing.  It is all PR

MJ,

Ran into a guy I have not seen in twenty years that lives in Johnston, He just signed a lease with BP and a separate agreement  to supply them water. He keeps in contact with a BP REP. and he stated that every well drilled so far with the exception of the Morrison well has WET GAS. He did not ask about the Morrison well !!

Keep us in mind with any other information please.

did anyone hear on radio 570 about 11:30a today "permit issued on Fisher Corinth rd" did not hear all of it.  Was it for shale gas?

Warren,

did you finally get leased? BP?

yes signed late may, BP using the ALOV lease document.

activity on bushnell campbell rd south of rt 5 was announced on radio 570 this am.  more good news for Trumbull cty.

Between Rt 5 and Rt 88?  Or further past 88?  Did they say?

did not hear complete description. radio 570 is giving a daily report on shale activity about 11:15 to 11:30. maybe somebody could listen today for a new update. It may be close to where bushnell campbell meets route 5.
