I live in Ohio but just found out that I own mineral rights only from a family farm north of Cameron. Who would have thought?

Chesapeake notified us and wants us to sign a lease for $2000/acre and 18% royalties.

Is this the going rate for that area?

 I rcvd. a letter from triana about 6 mo.s  ago that they bought my lease in fayette co pa. from marathon but have rcvd no info on what plans triana has for the area ---- is there any (new) news on plans to drill in my area ?  (wharton twsp.)

My partner and I have received an offer from Antero Resources to lease 20.6 net acres from us for 5 years for a bonus of $1,500 per acre and a 15% royalty on production.  Our property is in Tyler County and near Plum, WV.  Is this a reasonable offer?

To Kieth I am a landowner in lawrence county ky accross from wayne wv they are drilling oil & gas on the berea play over here. I have yet to lease because the offers are nothing like wv pa oh & ny, have you heard what the signing bonuses are on this side of the river. haveing problems with your web site. some times not fully loading. loseing the web site in the middle of posting or reading. when the gas/oil prices do not load is when the problems occurs.I know there can be many reasons for this but I have tried many things, too many to list, but seems to come back to the web site not loading. have no problems on other web sites.I haven't noticed anyone else haveing this problem, so that makes me wonder if it could be something on my end. any suggestions or info you can shear would be helpful. Don

Yes, thank you. Just wish the price was higher! On the bright side, it is double from this time last year. I love to play around with the royalty calculator. They are coming to drill 2 more wells next month.
