Triad Hunter has applied for three horizontal well permits for the Stewart farm in western Tyler County. If any of these wells run in a NNW direction, it could easily reach the upper half of Hickman Run.

hi bob got a question for you. i got on line and look at magnum hunter august report and it shows steart well pad as westland-steart well pad 2 units what's this mean thank you for your time

My guess is that they are limited in their leases to 640 acres per unit, dividing the wells on one pad into two units would permit them to drill two 640 acres units from one pad. I am sure that is as clear as mud, but I don't know how else to explain it. The royalties from one unit (group of wells) will go to one group of mineral owners and the royalties from the other unit (group of wells) will go to another group of mineral owners.

just got a reg. letter from antero about walking the property lines with gps and i am lease to triad. called triad they might be talking a trade with antero. i am 1 mile 2/10ths up the hollow from rte. 18 triad said i might be put in a unit with antero. hope this helps someone.

Congratulations, sounds like there could be royalty checks in your mail box in the next year or two.
