For the last couple of months there have been thousands of re-assignment of leases from Anadarko to Chief. It appears as if Anadarko is selling their share of leases in properties not already included units. Am I correct?
I'm glad they have computers to keep this all straight since CHK is calculating their units to plus or minus 6 square inches.

My read is the same as yours.  Looks like Anadarko has sold Chief its lease interest outside existing units.  Do you think this is the case with all Bradford county units?  I see from the doc you posted that is is at least across several townships.

About 890 for March, 660 for April and so far 215 for May have been filed. I haven't seen any in Litchfield twp. where Anadarko is not a partner and not counting leases in which acreage is fully contained in a unit, I would think that would about cover the entire county. And they apparently aren't finished yet.

The sales in Bradford County of undeveloped leases for Anadarko is just the tip of the iceberg. They are cash strapped. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/anadarko-raise-cash-more-asset-141113...

Anadarko is a partner in a number of wells in Bradford county. Since they need cash, how much pressure are they able to exert on the major partners in a unit to continue pumping gas. With an eye on the depressed prices, this must create some interesting conversations between companies.
