new to the group

Hi.  I am new to your group. My brother and I own acreage in Kersey and recently contacted MDS Energy, LTD for leasing information. We received leasing documents and are currently in the process of reviewing them.  Fortunately, my son is an attorney practicing in Pittsburgh.  Although he does not specialize in this type of law, he has a close friend who does.  I agreed to give Tom $50.00 to take TM out to lunch.  He assured me that his friend will do him the favor of reviewing the docs.  I will let the group know what happens.

hi tony, my name is jim and i am from mckean county. i am working with a compary called ARS and they have helped me termendously with my gas rights and especially the language in contracts. if you need some assistance i can get you their info.

Did you ever sign up with MDS? What were/are they offering up there? I've seen a variety of numbers.

like i have said before nothing less than 3,000 an acre and royalties 15% or better and forever the land men have budgets and you all better not a sign a thing without a lawyer and gas/oil smart one too they are around google search em

Please be very careful when being approached by MDS, Markham Bros, Snyder Bros., 1St Energy, & I believe that there is one more co. in the Snyder Bros  grouping. First they will tie up your land for 10 years, its a 5 yr contract with an AUTOMATIC renewal for 5more yrs., they really are not a marcellus drilling co., they just acquire land and then group together and hopefully will sell off. In the meantime YOUR land is tied up for 10years! The really sad part of all of this is, people take these "leases" to their attorney to review, but in reality, the attorney really doesn't understand the in & out  of leases.  PLEASE stay clear of ANY of the Snyder Bros. Its YOUR land becareful.
