I live in central Pa. where alot of drilling is taking place, but most are being caped because their is no way to transport the gas. Is this a common practice?

with so much drilling going on around us my husband and I wonder if drilling will start in Wyoming county? My husband already had a well on his property about 20 years ago. Till the driller closed it. So we already know it is here, but when will the drilling start again {here}? So much bad publisity going on about well water due to drilling. I do understand it is not chesapeake but still it does make one worry.
