Hello. How many acres do you have? I wouldnt sign anything until you see who else is in the area. There are many ways to structure a deal on acreage and every company is likely to go at it a different way. I have signed with companies who havent drilled a well on my land, which is very dissapointing, and you don't want to fall into this. Get a strong idea of the drilling plan of Range, and the other companies in Washington and then make a decision. I've had some experience dealing with landowners in North Dakota who have signed with large companies who are still waiting on a well, 3 years later. Often times these large companies have slower turn around times to drilling (and your subsequent royalties) due to complexities and formalizations in their business. A private company may only have a handful of people to okay the drilling of your property, and they tend to have similar results to larger corperations. I may be old, but I'm old and wise! (through my unfortunate mistakes in the past, haha) How many acres do you have?
