The landmen (4) total promiced 4 different kinds of leases. One well has been drilled on my nieghbor. Not sure why they drilled that well,when there is no pipeline near our area. No more drilling activity since Oct.2008.

    I was approached by a landman today offering 750 per acre and 12.5% and said that was the top amount. with addendums of leaving land in same condition found, royalities paid off gross not net at well head, no storage, negotiate pipe line and other things lacations.
    He will be back next week...... I wonder if anyone other offers are comeing about out there

    Mary,
    My understanding is that there are offers of $3,000 per acre. And you have chance to protect your property with better addendums. Stick to your guns,the gas is going no where......... there are better offers out there.

    The coalition near Binghamton was offered 3,500 per acre bonus, extended over a few years with a 20% roayalty. I don't know all the details, but our coalition (CNY) thinks we can do better.
