I have 8 acres of commercial property in PA on 224 about 2 miles from the OH border (Mahoning twp). Would love to keep in touch on activity in this area.
I just signed a lease this week on my residential property in Mars PA.
I bought a Mobile Home Park (about 8 acres, Lawrence County PA) that can't be more than 3 miles from your property. Up to now, there has been little activity in Lawrence county. Where I actually live in Butler County, PA, activity is very heated. We signed a lease this week for $3600/acre (we have 7.1) plus 18% royalties. We went in with a group of adjacent neighbors and properties (probably about 250 total acres) and had a few companies bid on it. We signed with Rex Energy who has active wells a few miles away.
I believe it is only a matter of time before this area heats up. I will definitely let you know if and when I hear anything.
