Why cant we come up with some type of average from the people on here actually getting royalty checks. I know every well is different but we should be able to ball park some numbers.

Joe, May I ask... What town are you in ? Many Thanks in advance.
Hey Joe,
Apparently, Chesapeake must be taking a lot of deductions?
What is the price per mcf that CHK has been paying (underpaying) you?
Thanks, Todd
Very glad to see the response you're getting here, and the range of payments that are showing up. One thing that might help others is some info on the productivity of the wells that are generating the royalty. I had provided $/acre figures earlier in this thread but did not include that either, have modified list to include month of production and well output in MCF. For the area I'm in, this is a better than average, but not outstanding well.

Tom
why is there such a money difference from 12/13 to 1/14 when production is about the same? do you have any idea?
It's all in the price of the gas, biggest contributor was CHK (who we all love to hate) December gas sold for (net) $2.71 /mcf, January was $7.43 /mcf.
yeah one thing is for certain the O&G company will get more than there fair share not once or twice but all the time very informative discussion
I'm not taking the land mans side but depending on when you signed Nat gas prices were at record high's (around $10). So while the land men was lying pretty much the entire time his lips were moving, he may of had just a speckle of truth.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
