Alaska is buying into a plan with multiple companies to build a LNG terminal along with pipelines and related facilities estimated to cost $45 billion and as high as $65 billion. They will supply 10% of the financing which is huge buy in for a government to do.

There is also a separate LNG facility along the Canadian coast line for $15 billion.

Nat gas is having a huge impact on N America and will continue to do so for the next 50 yrs or more.
