I currently own several hundred acres in Allegany County NY..In the Almond NY area. Can anyone help me out and give me some information? I am told that the Marcellus shale is approx 75Ft thick and the Utica is approx 250Ft thick..WHEN?? and WILL my area get leased sometime in the near future? Does anyone know much about the Almond/West Almond/Arkport Area?? Does this area have a good promising future for oil and gas??? How much money should i expect from a lease and when do you think the gas companies will start looking to lease? Please give any and all information that you have or know about my area.  Thank You!
