Interesting....

from selling  leases (or shares of, I should say) to foreign countries which could result in people in the US paying for US gas and profiting China and other countries when they pay for the natural gas since the gas is off their own properties but the leases are in part sold to China, India, etc. to reading such a statement as this...

Look into the two firms that handled the deal for them.
