Has anyone heard from antero when they might drill in monroe co ?

They are drilling in Monroe County right now at the DK Carpenter site and the Gary Unit site.
Anyone know the status of antero siberian pad laterials drilled?fraced?
Drilling the Siberian 3H SE from the Wilson Pad will have to wait for the big rig which will come most likely from either the DK Carpenter or the GARY site. It's overdue according to Antero. The pad is finished, the Marion Township 200 approach road has been partially paved, and the verticals for the Siberian and the Graves have been drilled using a small rig. The Siberian is first, followed by the Graves.
U the man hiker good info
The Noble County GRAVES unit will drill NW from the Wilson pad, opposite the SIBERIAN, and it appears the GRAVES is the un-named unit Antero mentioned recently as a test for 500' down-spacing. ODNR documents show a 4H lateral was recently permitted for the GRAVES, while the unit size was redrawn smaller from 640 acres to 591. This works out to a potential 5 laterals @ 500' instead of the three @ 950' previously published, but it won't really be known until the new plats are available. The second test unit Antero announced at 750' spacing is the KEYLOR just to the east into Monroe County. If the GRAVES is a success, chances are good that the SIBERIAN may replicate the 500' spacing. Whoo Hooo. Pad construction is underway for the KAHRIG/BARTO units, which will lie contiguous to the GRAVES/SIBERIAN, so this area might represent the “core of the core” that CEO Paul Rady referred to in the Q4 /year end presentation recently. The production numbers for the GARY, RUBEL, YONTZ, etc....seem to verify this.
Hiker, have you heard if and when Antero will come on the west side of interstate 77 noble county,821 north belle valley area, can't seem to get any info, I have a 5 year lease with a 3 year drill guarantee, I sign 1/21/12
jc; I have not heard about any activity in your area since the Sandford and the Anadarko wells in W. Noble were drilled. It seems that Antero is concentrating more in the wet gas NE corner of the county, probably until the key to unlocking more of the oil in the west is developed.
Hiker, Have you heard of any drilling in the Summit township area. I have a lease with Anterro at this time. Is there a map of Monroe county showing when are they well have been drilled and permits pulled?
Rick: I haven't heard about new wells in Summit, but that's the direction Antero seems to be headed. To the east of the Rubel they drilled the McDougal, then the Keylor, and the Loraditch is next. They keep pushing east. Antero leased so much ground in the Lewisville area with the Baker group (~19k) and G.Rubel (~13k), they are bound to develop it. The water line is there. The Reusser condensate stabilization/compressor isn't far from Lewisville, and the new plant being built next to the Texas Eastern Berne compressor tells me Lewisville will be very busy in the future. If the recent downturn in expectations for condensate from the "highly rich gas/condensate" window (think Miley-Wayne-Coal area in Noble) turns out to be severe (?), the dry gas (and lots of it!) in western Monroe will start to look mighty good. IMHO.
Hiker, Thanks for the info.
Not a problem guys, I do think Monroe will see it's share of the action, both from the Utica in the NW to the Utica + Marcellus + ? in the east. There could be some Marcellus action in the west also, but that may have to wait a bit. These guys have a full plate with all the drilling in W.Va and eastern Ohio. Bring on more rigs lol!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
