Has anyone heard of or had any new leases signed since the first of this year? If so what companies? I am told that none of the gas companies are interested in signing any new leases, and if they are bonus money is no greater than $500/acre. I am sure there are some exceptions where the need to fill a void in a unit, but most seem to be shying away with gas prices at $2.50/cu.ft. I can't even get EOG to return my calls on a 20 acre tract next one of their units. It sounds like everyone is heading west for the wet gas.

I think west is oil.

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
