I received my bank draft back from the bank on 23 June 2012 with the reason listed as "title and curative issues". I spoke to Bruce Dondzila of Holland Services today and asked what the curative issues were. He checked my record and said that my deed had not been run because they received a memo from Shell that leases under 10 acres were not being accepted. My acreage is 9.141 acres as stated on my signed lease. This lease was signed on December 15, 2011 and Holland Services filed the Memorandum of Lease with the Guernsey County Recorder's Office on January 25, 2012.
Are there any others with this problem. Why would the returned draft state title and curative issues when the deed was never checked.
