Things have been quiet on the site for Morgan County. Wondering if there is any news. I have 52 acres near the county line off of rt60 that I have been hoping to get leased.

Paul, which County line?....Thanks, Gary

Morgan / Muskingham

Paul, Not to sure what is happening up your way......we have some land in Meigsville TWP.  Some wells going in our area: Niel well(horizontal) about 2-3 miles from Morgan county line in Washington County....currently being drilled,........ Palmer well is in Center Twp. in Morgan County. Vertical section completed in 2012, Rig from Niel well to move over to this well next to put in horizonal section(last I heard, may have changed by now)...both of theses wells our owned by PDC .....Gary

Thank you Gary for the update. I know there is a producing to the NE of me in Muskingham county. I guess I'll keep hoping and waiting to be leased.

Paul, Who is the driller of the well to NE of you...I believe PDC paid $4250/acre and 18% royalities in the last 90 days for land associated with these two wells down this way.....Gary

I'm not sure who the driller is, I read about it on here and found it on the maps. I'll see if I can find out who the driller is.

Jodi,

You need to drive over to the Meigs well in Muskingum County and I think you will submit a correction to your posting.

There is recent activity and production equipment is being installed.

Anadarko.......what I know,.....1.) they are a very large Oil/Gas drilling/exploring World wide Company with operation on most all Continents .... 2.) In there most recent review with the Investment Bankers, they were questioned about rumors of them pulling out of the Utica Shale play. They answered the question as follows: We have no plans to pull out of this play. We have several shale plays around the world similar to the Utica. We have elected to develop our Shale drilling/production expertise in Shale areas that have current infrastructure in place to handle production of our wells. In the mean time we will do our shale drilling in only areas that can support our production. We will come back to the Utica in time,  after the infrastructure is in place and we know how to produce efficiently in Shale areas.......what I have been told.. ....1.) they have a small office in Zanesville and have no plans to close it......2.) The people in the Zanesville office are from their group responsible for putting together drilling units in an efficient manner and prepare needed data/permits to allow for drilling to move forward when this decision is made........what I think......1.) There is not any concrete info to say they are leaving the area, I can only find rumors......2.) Andarko will be a major player in the Utica Shale play, but it may be a couple years away ................... All IMHO

Jodi,......Go to their web site.......then to investor relations.....try May 6 News release.....I also see now they have put the date for next update on July 30......Pay attention to the question and answer sections of these reports/news releases, that where I find the most info........Andarkco people have to be straight shooters with these folks as they can/will make life miserable for  them if they feel they are not getting straight answers......sorry don't have time now to give more details about exact location, but I think you will find what you need........good luck........Gary

Jodi, ...sorry, I think you want to go to Investor Conference  section under the Presentation section.......May 7 call.....The whole thing may take some time (1-2 hrs) to listen to entire call but worth the time if you want to know what their intentions are....IMHO, they do not make it real easy for John Q. Public to understand what they are doing.......Gary

Utica Shale,..... I think I said what I think Anadarko may do. As to what they know or do not know about the strata I have no idea..... I am sure they may be in discussion with whom every they need to be to execute their business plan.........They are a very large company and have been down this road before. I am sure they have a plan and would prefer not to share it others for business reasons..........ALL IMHO
