I acquired property back in 2012 which is split between Shell and Ultra.  The previous owner continued to receive royalties.  I was told by Shell to give it some time and I would begin to receive payments from Ultra meanwhile payments continued to go to the original owner.  When I contacted Ultra they stated that Shell never sent them the new deed. They then began making current payments. I have been working since Sept 13 trying to get paid for the production while I was waiting for Ultra to begin payments.  We are not talking a lot of money probably less than $1k.  The Ultra rep has been telling me that I would receive those payments.  When I called today, she said that I had received them (I have not) but when pushed, she reverted back to the position that it was up to me to seek the payments from the previous owner.

She said she was going to go to accounting and see if she could figure things out.  Does anyone know if Ultra is required to pay these back payments?
