Boyers, Pa is Shell territory and the only well close-by is the Puryear Wells which are two miles southwest of Boyers. Unfortunately, Shell hasn't shown much interest in that area for reasons unknown to me. There have not been any other well permits applied for near Boyers.

Shell has that area locked up and they doing very little leasing at this time. I believe they are waiting to get all the ROW for a pipeline to connect all the wells they drilled in Lawrence and Butler counties before doing any more leasing.  Also, they are still researching the feasibility of the cracker plant near Monaca.

It is my guess that they will have the ROW and the cracker decision made by year end and perhaps will be active again next year.
