Chesapeake AEC Acquisition LLC has been amending quite a few oil and gas leases in Carroll County that Anschutz Exploration Corporation had originally entered into with landowners. The amendment has to do with the unitization clause whereas in the Anschutz lease agreement the unitization acreage was listed as a “not to exceed” amount of acreage. Chesapeake AEC Acquisition LLC has changed the wording a bit and has removed reference to specific acreage amounts. My question is why has Chesapeake revised these leases?
To view the ammended leases follow this link http://www.landaccess.com On the left hand side click the “NAME” and in the search box, type in Chesapeake AEC. It’s self explanatory from there...........all info appreciated
