saw this recent discussion on eaglford forum and wondering if anyone up here has recieved retroactive additional money for "corrections" on past royalty payments that they were apparently cheated out of by CHK.

i dont know how to post the link, but the question was;

"Anyone else receive a correction to price to the gas price received from Chesapeake on their last check? They went back to Dec 2012 when the well first started producing and corrected every month. These were not even close. They originally paid me 40- 60% less than what they received. I know they got caught in the Marcellus selling to an affiliated company at a lower cost than what they were actually receiving. I just noticed the check stub it even says " Gross Value refers to the sales price received by the operator/lessee before deduction of taxes. It may reflect the price received from an affiliated purchaser."

and the first response was;

"We also got correction all the way back to start of production on the CHK Dec check.I noted the pay group changed along with the price paid for oil and gas."

wow - 40% to 60% less........this is not for unfair deductions - it is unfair selling price, possibly to an affiliate.........i guess it's a good thing that they are now making it right.

thanks phillip.........i will figure that out someday.

Right click on the address and then click copy.  Then right click in the reply window and click paste.

well that's easy.......i know iv'e tried that before.....works now.....thanks

I heard CHK was selling to themselves for like $1, and then turning around and re-selling on the open market. That way they can only pay us the reduced price of the first sale.
