On the ODNR site Chesapeake listed 20 well sites as temporary inactive yesterday.  Anyone know what this means?

Likely means CHK finds sub-$3.00 gas equally as odious as all the rest of us.  CHK is doing the royalty owners of those sites a good turn.

Can I ask where you found this on the website?

There is one well in our area (Guernsey County) that has recently been changed to "temporary inactive".  It is pretty much in an area all by itself with no infrastructure in place.  I assumed that was why the status was changed.

ODNR engineers report put in all activities greater than 01/10/2015.  It is at the end of the report were dated yesterday

Thank you! I appreciate your help!

Pinehill could you provide a link to this report or copy and paste it or provide a list of well names for us to view

I have attached the file I down loaded the other day, it is at the end

Temporarily inactive usually means that the well has either not been completed or it has not produced for one year or more after completion.
