Looks like the State of Michigan is going after CHK for allegedly lying to landowners about mortgages on their property affecting the ability for the landowner to be leased by CHK.  The article was published on June 25, 2014.

Having a mortgage on your property wasn’t an issue for landowners in Ohio so why would it be an issue for landowners in Michigan?
