Perhaps this has something to do with why we have not seen a lot of drilling activity from CHK of late. 

CHK has moved staff and equipment into their new building in Louisville OH and Great Plains oil field services (a subsidiary of CHK) has a large number of Fresh Water tank trailers (used for fracing) stored at the location.

Seventy Seven Energy Inc. (ticker symbol is SSE on the NYSE) has an office in Jackson Township Ohio, just across from the Cracker Barrel restaurant with CHK trucks and SUVs parked out front.  Less than a month ago that same office had the Chesapeake name over the front door.
