My royalty checks in Bradford County began in early summer; it seems that approximately 1/3 of amount is from Statoil; the rest is from Chesapeake; first checks for four or so months so larger; checks in sync for summer each for monthy amounts of royalty, each coming at end of the month; in Sept and Oct I received royalty only from Statoil, nothing from Chesapeake. Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?
My record keeping is now being organized as suggested on this site and I will have to include careful monitoring evidently to ATTEMPT to keep track of who is paying what and for what, but until now I was accepting whatever came. DUMB on my part after all the other manipulation by Chesapeake throughout the whole leasing/pipeline process. So what are others doing to keep track and to even get the Chesapeake checks?
Thank you
