Does anyone have an existing D&L energy surface vertical gas well lease and willing to form a landgroup if and when D&L sells their leases? Mercer County PA

If D&L already holds the lease, what good is a land group?

My lease only allows up to 160 acre unitization. If D&L sells they will need addendum signed for larger acreage unitization and that is where those of us in this situation will have some bargaining power

Hopefully they will negotiate with the landowners. Keep in mind that a single horizontal well with a mile long horizontal leg CAN be drilled inside of 160 acres if they use a long narrow drilling unit. If they want to do multiple wells from one well pad (far more profitable for the company) then they will have to renegotiate unitization with the lessors (landowners).

I know it is a bit of wishful thinking but i have read other threads from people with some measure of success in this matter. Also i think that my area NW Mercer county is utica land and i think that may require larger unitization......i am obviously not an O&G person so this is very new to me. I bought the land and min rights from an owner in 2007 that had an existing lease from 2003. My royalty checks are very small and sometimes take up to 4 months for the well to produce enough gas to warrant a check.  have you heard anything about D&L. They obviosly wont give me any info about their intentions

I'm in Ohio where Utica is the main focus. We have some Marcellus under us but it is not economically viable to produce at this time. There are a number of Utica horizontal drilling inits here that are considerably less than 200 acres with mile + laterals. It takes 144.17 acres to drill a horizontal well whose ending location is one mile from the entry point as measured on the surface while still complying with Ohio's 500ft setback regulations.

CL... I have a question for you.  Can we correspond via Message?
