I believe that the citizens of Dimmock have been gravely wronged.
Wronged in a manner that had damaged the reputation of the community, damaged property values, and potentially damaged businesses and individuals whose livelihood is derived from visitors.
I believe that a damaging libel has been perpetrated against the people of Dimmock.
I would very much like to see the people of Dimmock win a substantial lawsuit against those who have orchestrated and perpetuated this libel.
Those responsible for the creating the libel and those who continue to voice this libel should be punished; the people of Dimmock deserve justice and recompense for this wrong.

Tom if you feel there is no problem with the water in Dimock I want to know if you would drink the water from the Sautners house.Seems everyone keeps saying the water is fine but I don't see any of these people volunteering to drink it....!Anyone else wants to volunteer let me know...I can arrange this...!

Tom I did not say from Dimock wells I specifically said Sautners well .Have you drank from their well ? I doubt it....!Let me know I'll set it up for you...!

Perhaps you should look into bottling and selling water from the Sautners well.
The Frenchies sell us that fizzy Perrier Water for more money per ounce/ml than what gasoline sells for.
But then again, the water from the Sautners well is probably not fizzy enough.

This reminds me of the reverse of a situation that I was a witness to many years ago in Ohio. I was working my way through college by doing various landscape projects during the summers. On one project, a new yard for a recently-built rural home, owned by a successful anesthesiologist and for which a septic system that utilized a newly-required aerator to provide oxygen for better digestion of the solids and other waste had been installed and was functioning. However, the effluent which was permitted to drain onto the surface and into a roadside drainage ditch was very smelly and left a black residue along its course.
One day, as I was completing some finishing touches, the owner came out and we discussed the nasty smell and the messy look of the drainage area. He explained that the county agent, who had been instrumental in the recent system requirement changes, had assured him that this system would produce effluent that one could actually drink. The owner said that, in light of that statement and the present conditions we observed, he was going to invite the agent to visit and that he would provide him with a clean cup so that he could avail himself of a drink of the effluent to affirm his earlier assurances.
Unfortunately, I never got to see if he actually did that, but it would have been very humorous if he did.
