Here is brief summary of the case and it was a 4-3 decision. I am personally guessing zoning laws will now be under the microscope in Ohio as that seems to be the issue that is left hanging. For those of you who don't remember this is the Munroe Falls vs Beck Energy case
My question is what happens when an urban well has a blowout like we have seen in Monroe county? Do you evacuate an entire town until Wild Well Control comes up from Texas? Should the local population have some say in where well pads are placed?
