Can anyone tell me what these towers do?

From the looks of them they appear to have the ability to get pretty darn hot at times (for one thing they may do or might have done).

Looking kind of like a muzzle flash suppressor on a firearm.

Something to do with the 'flaring off' process ?

They have these down the road from me on wells that are producing.  It has something to do with flaring be cause they are burning at certain times.  I'm sure after There originally flared and put into production there are times where they need to burn off gases.

Looks like a combustor.

Typically these are used on condensate tanks to burn vapors.  You used to be able to vent these vapors, however EPA OOOO requirements have curbed the amount of vapors you can free.  Now you must either burn it, or compress it (Vapor recovery units).

Bluejack,

It appears to be an older piece of equipment, probably associated with a shallow well.

Some sort of vertical separator heat treater.

it is a vertical seperator with a heat treater built in to separate the brine and oil used alot on clinton wells in the area can be used with or without heat you see alot of them around in the east canton and magnolia areas
