I have an opportunity to purchase 31 acres in Forest county for 75K, all rights are included.   Does anyone have an idea if this is a good purchase or is it over priced at this time?  Thank you for responses in advance.

If U had the Extra Money Laying around I would most deff say yes in clarion co Chevron has leased everything that they can for 3250 an acre if u r looking for quick cash i would tell you no but if u r looking for an investment in the future i would due it all day

If this is true, why when I talked to Chevron are they not interested in my 50 acres in Madison County? Do you have a contact for me? Thanks

Who has leased the property surrounding yours?

Any marketable timber on the property?

Going to check on that also.

Get an abstract done to assure that you are getting the oil and gas rights.
