My sisters and I own 40 acres off of Rhinehart Rd. We have signed a lease, almost 3 and 1/2 years ago. We have not heard anything but rumors or not rumors. People are saying nothing is going to happen with these leases. Others are saying they are. Does anyone know of what is going to happen here? I just don't know what to believe. Thanks

I say it is going to happen the biggest problem is lack of infrastructure in the whole three state area .......not enough pipeline and not enough processing plants......there are 18 billion dollars worth of projects in ohio alone to increase capacity .......most of witch will be completed in 2017......what is in place is working at capacity........guess you just got to set back and wait.......if you have a renewable lease in a year and half you will receive a renewal bonus for another 5 years.....ALWAYS REMEMBER NEVER SELL YOUR MINERAL RIGHTS ..........who knows what is below the Marcellus and Utica,,,,,check out the discussion on here titled INFRASTRUCTURE .........I have provide many maps and news articles on this subject...........good luck and hold on........ignore those solicitations you are receiving to buy your mineral rights they are rip offs just trying to flip your mineral rights to someone else to make a big profit I receive them a couple times a week and throw them in the trash also remember the market is down on oil and gas prices so the producers have slowed down on drilling for now .......a year ago there was 49 rigs running in ohio now it is down to 26

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
