Harrison Co. Why no buyers for royaltys under 10 acres

   My neighbor has 14 acres of land and is getting offers weekly to buy his royaltys. I have 8 acres and mineral buyers say they are not interested in under 10 acres.  I was wondering if I could pool with other land owners to get those offers. I was also told that these small acre sizes could be left out of drilling units if they are on the very edge of a drilling unit buy Gateway mineral buyers. I am in stock TWP and it is a hot area. I hope im not left out in the cold.

Yes , I was told the same thing. I live in north twp. and CHK did no renew my lease. I only got $500 an acre 5 years ago. I was one of the first to sign. I tried to sell my intrest in the royalty and all the companys I contacted told me 10 acres and up is min.  I say lets pool also.

Hopefully you can work out an agreement with your neighbor to only sell if both of your properties are included.
