Can anyone tell me when you are considered to be held by production.Is it when you are added to a unit or when your lease was to expire.I have a lease that states I will be paid if the well is held and not producing yet. I would like to know at which time I can start calculating what I should be paid for.My lease states I am to be paid 50.00 per acre per month and I own 48 acres.Range added me to a unit in October and MY lease  was due to expire in early march.They increased the size of the unit twice last year I  believe in part to keep from renewing expiring leases
