I stopped receiving my royalty checks, does this mean the well has been shutdown and capped?

If you are in Ohio and in the NE Region, you should call the North East Region ODNR Supervisor and have him send out an ODNR Employee to determine your well status. The ODNR website has each region and Supervisor listed with phone number.
I did his a few weeks back and got a response on Paige Well 5H.
As a note, a few weeks back a neighbor said he had methane gas in his water which was new after living in the same place all his life. I called the NE Region ODNR and they told me they were the right folks for him to call with the complaint.
I"m sure more people will have this issue. It goes with the territory. Now if we could just get a fair royalty we could buy our water without it being an economic burden. Since the cows are the cause of the methane, I'm sure no one will pay for the problem.
