I recently received checks related to my unit - Jefferson County, OH. They are listed as "Shut-in Royalty."
Does anyone know how to find the "shut-in" date for your/a well? I cannot locate on the ODNR sites. None of the PDF's nor scanned documents on the ODNR site for this unit show a shut-in date anywhere; does Chesapeake not have to notify ODNR when they shut-in a well?
After 1 call and 3 e-mails directly to Chesapeake, I've yet to get a response.
Has anyone else received shut-in royalties from CHK and were they paid (on-time), per your lease language?
I believe these checks were not paid within lease stipulations...thanks.
