The Hurtt well drilling rig in East Lackawannock Twp. went up today. A couple questions that I have:

1. At the entrance to the drilling pad there is a sign that says Hurtt Compressor and the word Williams is below . Does every drilling pad have a compressor?

2.  In 1959 the previous owners of my property granted a right of way for an oil and gas pipeline. Today I received a letter from Williams  Laurel Mountain Midstream warning about digging  in the area of the pipeline. Could a pipeline that old still be used and could it handle the volume of oil/gas potentially coming from a Utica well versus the shallow wells that are everywhere in Mercer County?

Thanks!

The compressor station was there before the well. And i imagine the right a way is wide enough foe another pipe or they might be replacing the existing pipe that's already in ground.

Thanks!
