Could someone please explain what this is? I attached the photo as a Jpeg. It appears to be a drilling pad. Im not sure. Also There are some links below that would suggest heavy activity about to happen in Columbiana County. Hilcorp, Chase Bank, and Carlyle Energy Development recorded a mortgage on 7/24 for 1.4 billion dollars. The concentration of the leases collateralized were in Salem, Knox, Center and Elkrun. This is fairly significant due to the fact geological proof had to be given to Chase in order to approve the Mortgage.

I apologize. I thought the additional links would take you directly to the search. Please use Great River Energy and Gateway Royalty in the last name search box to pull recent lease recordings.

Great River is leasing for AEP and Gateway is a royalty buyer. Aubrey loves gas and Columbiana has it.
Hilcorp is using leased mineral rights as collateral for a loan. Chesapeake also did this. Loans require something of value as collateral a home a car a business of equipment .... or in this case mineral rights leases. The more proven the reserves the more valuable the leases would be as collateral.
Correct. I understand that. Hence Chase lending 1.4 billion on these leases. This is very big news for the area. Im new to this. I am just trying to confirm my opinion is correct based on the research i've done. Thanks
