Which companies might consider buying Infinity Natural Resources for it`s Marcellus/Utica development in Armstrong/Indiana counties? They seem to be doing well.

looks 5 more wells permitted in February for INR in Indiana County Young Township.February permits
CNX plans 3 Utica wells in 2026, with 2 more being drilled but not completed (from the conference call)
Permalink Reply by farmgas on January 31, 2026 at 11:43am I see where they plan 3 TIL Utica wells in 2026 but miss mention of the other 2 to be drilled but DUC. I must have missed that in their transcript. All of their Utica activity seems to be in the southern area of CPA. Wonder how the Marcellus drilling in SWPA will impact the activity in CPA? When will INR have their next quarterly report?

I haven't seen them announce a release date, they seem to be later than others, maybe the end of February or early March.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Infinity Natural Resources, Inc. Permalink Reply by farmgas on March 7, 2026 at 5:46am What should we be looking for in the INR report? New wells planned, expansion of leased area, new markets in Pennsylvania, Utica program, competition from CNX,....any thoughts?
I think you hit all the things I am interested in.
Permalink Reply by farmgas on March 7, 2026 at 9:20am Looking at the PADEP website for oil & gas inspections there is a report on February 5 for a CNX plugged Utica well on the CNX MAM16 pad? Not sure what happened but will this problem have any impact on INR drilling plans?
Fair number of questions regarding the development plan. Sounds like they are still going slow on the Utica, one well planned for the back half of the year, likely not in production in 2026. They have bought in some people with experience in the Utica as well as reserved a rig that can drill that deep.
Permalink Reply by farmgas on March 11, 2026 at 1:37pm Are they playing a game of chicken with CNX over who will first drill a Utica well along the Armstrong/Indiana County border in Young Township or even further to the northeast? Any news about the fate of the Keystone Power Plant? It was to close next year, and is planned to be another Data Center Complex like the Homer City Project.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
