Dont be surprised if palamo sells out to aep for more money then they paid u

We were signed up with Great Lakes with our first lease 7 years ago and Chesapeake bought them out. Our farm is in Hookstown, PA.  ha ha ... They paid up $10.00 per acre per year !  And...we thought That..was good money !  Ha ha on our neighbors...They only got $5.00  per acre  per year !   I have learned Much... since then...thanks to the Wonderful people in this forum !  Good Luck and God Bless....

Congrats Terry from Hancock County -
Any indication of what formation that they're primarily interested in drilling there in Steubenville TWP?
Even Paloma flips it who cares. 7200/ 20 is great .

Yea I was kind of counting on Paloma flipping it. I'm surrounded by CHK and AEP but I got more money and take my lease with me no matter who I end up with. Paloma said they were going to drill in Belmont Co. first of the year. I figured I would be a great bargaining chip for them to trade to put their unit together. Plus I was pretty sure to get my money from and investment company than wait for a new start up company. Money is being put to work already ( but I'm trying to talk myself out of a downpayment on a nice helicopter). But my wife said she wants a new refrigerator first, guess it ain't that bad of a deal either. LOL  But thanks every one for the good wishes.  Merry Christmas
