Kastellic well will be torn down this weekend....

Should be gone by next Tues..

Then the fracking rig will be coming in....

and do both Dobeck and Kastelic wells...

Hopefully all fracking will be done by end of May...

Got a BIG TOUR OF RIG last Saturday...

amazing operation...

Barely takes 2 minutes to change 120 foot length of drill stem....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE GUY WITH A JOY STICK. .and two down below to throw in a CHINESE finger lock

and line up threads....

There aint enough money in the world for me

to work on one of those rigs.....even in good weather..

sorry bout that .. this site gets confusing to  post to....

I was on the "county" site but hit the GMS logo.. and posted here...

We are in Spencer twp.. Guernsey county... Ohio... site of the MOST OIL in Ohio   :)

In 1886.. .a hand dug well... 67 feet down..

put out an estimated 30,000 barresl of oil a day..

till plugged.....oil ran down the creeks into the rivers and into the OHIO.. river....

You can read all about it in the 1880's books on Ohio...

that was just 15 miles south of me...

Rats ..never thought of taking camera...dumb me....geez..

I will tell you it is hard to believe whats on a small pad when your in the middle of it.

They cant pull out all weekend... State law.. no heavy trucks on holidays..

Drill stem going out today tho....

Concreting last of lateral.. also today...

We sure will miss the ole well.....been weeks and weeks... droning all day and nite...

Put me to sleep......:)
